Do I need to be able to swim/ride a bicycle to water cycle?

No, only need to be confident enough to walk around in the water.

Do the water bikes move around in the water?

No, the only movement is you doing the spin class on the stationary aqua cycle!

I've had knee surgery how does water cycling help me?

Water / Aqua Cycling is kind on your joints and excellent for your muscles strength, endurance and flexibility. It is important you seek the advice of your GP/Physio and advise us of any pre-existing injuries so we can cater to this during your sessions. We customise classes tailored to your fitness goals, from low intensity rehabilitation and recovery to high intensity underwater spinning.

Will my hair get wet?

No! You don’t have to worry about rinsing or washing your hair after aqua cycling. Excellent!

How long are aqua cycle classes/sessions?

Our daily classes are 45 minutes (including warm up/ warm down stretches). Private corporate/sporting group and hydrotherapy pool sessions can vary depending on the client/s needs.

What do I need to bring for the aqua cycle classes?

Swimwear, towel, bottle of water/hydration liquids, water shoes are compulsory for the cage pedals. Ordinary sneakers absorb water and add weight that can cause calf pain.

Do participants have to be a minimum or maximum age/height/weight?

Minimum height for our aqua cycles is 150cm and maximum weight is 150kg.
